Going to AGPC!

I'm going to Chicago in the first week of May, and will be going to AGPC!!!
I'm so excited, but I have a couple of questions.
First, I will probably be going eather Thursday or Friday, which do you think will be less busy?
Second, how useful is a PS when you're in the store?
And lastly, at the Cafe, which should I have, lunch or dinner? Thanks!

That's the weekend before my spring break, so I'm still not sure if I can go that weekend or the following. But, I'm going to be there around that time. If all works out I'll be meeting up with Kit_Girl(Tracy) and Colette Denali. I'm so excited!

Yay! I'm so happy for you! We just went the beginning of this month.

To answer your questions:
1) I'm guessing that Thursday wouldn't be as crowded as a Friday. We went on a Friday when school was in session (we homeschool so it didn't matter for us) and I was surprised how crowded it was--a lot of school aged girls were there. I also think maybe a lot of people go into Chicago for a long weekend, so Friday could be busier.

2) We used a PS for the first part of our visit. We got Jess, her starter kit, and the girl sized outfit and PJ's, then DD wanted to wear the girl sized outfit while we were there (to wear during her photo shoot) so Ingrid cut off the tags for us, helped us put our purchases in the coat check, etc. After we did the photo shoot we walked around and made a few more purchases, but without Ingrid's help. She tracked us down while we were eating in the cafe and gave DD a little gift bag with some freebies (pics in the album in my sig).

3) We had lunch which was great--I thought it was quite a bit of food. I haven't had any other meals there, but I definitely would recommend lunch.

We are going to AGPC in June. I think we are going to do lunch and buy Jess and a couple outfits. Rachael has saved $92.00 so far.
I did have one question.

How did you get the PS? Did you make an appointment? I would like to have one when picking out Jess and the clothes.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I just asked for one at the concierge desk when we got there, and they sent Ingrid down. I don't think it could hurt to schedule one in advance though. If you want the direct number for the personal shoppers at AGPC pm me.

AGPC is usually much more crowded on Friday and Saturdays. As for the Cafe, I think the Dinner is better, but that is just my [img]graemlins/money.gif[/img] .
